Locus Point

Locus Points are points that are made available by moving a Locus Counter across Locus Cards. Locus Points are used to pay for Locus Costs.

In order to pay Locus Points, a Locus Counter is used, by moving the counter across the same number of cards in the Locus as the Locus Points required, starting from its previous position, from left to right.
If there are less Locus Cards than the Locus Points needed, the Locus Cost cannot be paid, and the card or ability for which the Locus Cost is required cannot be played or used.

● All Locus Cards are counted towards the available Locus Points a player has, regardless of them being face-up or face-down.
● A Locus Card's color or nation does not affect the Locus Point.
● The order and position of Locus Cards are not affected when paying Locus Points.
● Locus Points are recovered during a player's Start Phase, at the Recovery Step. To do so, the Locus Counter is removed from the Locus Cards.

Locus Counters are used to mark the Locus Points that have been used. Locus Counters for Colossus Order come with every Theme Deck, but any marker can be used in place, such as a coin or a die.

The following is an example of paying Locus Points

There are 2 White Set Gems, and 4 Locus Cards. However, 1 Locus Point has already been used, as marked by the Locus Counter, so 3 Locus Points can still be used this turn.

● "★Ash★" cannot be played, as it requires a Gem Level of 3 White Gems.
● "Heroic Knight" also cannot be played, as it has a Locus Cost of 4.

"Spurring Griffin" is the only card that can be played, as there are enough Locus Points to pay for its Locus Cost of 3, and enough Gems to fulfill its Gem Level of 2 White Gems.
To play "Spurring Griffin", shift the Locus Counter to the right by 3 Locus Cards, and place "Spurring Griffin" onto the field.
