Play Area

① Field

● The Field is where Follower Cards are placed, when coming into play.
● There is no card limit for the number of Follower Cards in play.
● OFF Position Follower Cards are one of the three targets for Followers to attack.


② Deck Area

● The Deck Area is where the Deck is placed.
● A player starts the game with 50 cards in their Deck, excluding the Colossus Card.
● The Deck is one of the three targets for Followers to attack.


③ Discard Pile

● The Discard Pile is where cards are placed after they have been used. This includes Follower Cards that have been destroyed, Action Cards that have been played, and cards that have been discarded from the Deck.


④ Locus

● The Locus is where cards are placed to generate Locus Points, as well as where Gem Cards are set for Gem Complete.
● Generally, 1 card can be set from the hand into the Locus face-down up to once per turn.
● Cards placed in the Locus are called Locus Cards.
● There is no card limit for the number of Locus Cards.
● Locus Cards are one of the three targets for Followers to attack.


⑤ Colossus Area

● The Colossus Area is where the Colossus Card is placed from the start of the game.


⑥ Colossus Gem

● Colossus Gem is a collective term for all Gem Cards that are set onto the Colossus, encompassing both Set Gems and Capture Gems.
● Colossus Gems are mainly used to activate Colossus abilities.


⑦ Set Gem Area

● The Set Gem Area is where Gem Cards are set from a player's hand onto their Colossus.
● Generally, 1 Gem Card can be set from the hand onto the Colossus up to once per turn.
● Gem Cards placed in the Set Gem Area are called Set Gems.
● There is no card limit for the number of Set Gems.
● Set Gems are used to fulfill Gem Levels for Follower Cards and Action Cards.


⑧ Capture Gem Area

● The Capture Gem Area is where Gem Cards are placed, when captured from the opposing player.
● Gem Cards placed in the Capture Gem Area are called Capture Gems.
● Capture Gems are treated as colorless Gems.
● There is no card limit for the number of Capture Gems.
