X-Play

X-Play, read as Cross-Play, is a play of Snap Action Cards or Follower abilities, made in response to a play or a declaration, where the player who is not the turn player gets priority.

Process of X-Play

① X-Play starts from the opposing player, in response to a play or a declaration.
② If a player passes the X-Play, the priority switches to the other player.
③ If a player X-Plays, the resolution of the Snap Action Card or Follower ability played is put on hold, after the cost is paid, and the priority of X-Play switches to the other player.
④ If both players pass in succession, the X-Play moves on to the resolution of the Snap Action Cards and Follower abilities played.
⑤ Starting from the last Snap Action Card or Follower ability played, the effects of the abilities are resolved in reverse order from the abilities played during the X-Play.

X-Play occurs at the following timings.

● After the play declaration of an Action Card.
● After the play declaration of a Follower Card.
● After the play declaration of an ignition ability.
● After the attack declaration.
● After the defense declaration.
● After the end of the Main Phase is declared.
